Looking ahead to kindergarten in fall 2027? We would love to help your family get to know Wasatch. Children learn, play, create, and build friendships in a community where they are known, supported, and challenged.

A visit is a chance to see our school, ask questions, and picture your child as a Wasatch Star. Families considering other grades are welcome to ask about visiting, too.

Planning for fall 2027

Outside Wasatch boundaries? The district's early open-enrollment application window is November 15, 2026–February 5, 2027. Applications are reviewed under district guidelines and available space. A tour request does not reserve an enrollment space.

Helpful family information

Full-day kindergarten: Wasatch currently offers full-day kindergarten. Current 2026–2027 hours are 8:40 AM–3:15 PM Monday–Thursday and 8:40 AM–2:15 PM Friday. We will share 2027–2028 details when confirmed.

Transportation and after-school care: Please ask the office about options, availability, and eligibility for your family before making plans.

Request a kindergarten tour

Email Principal Tony Zani at Tony.zani@slcschools.org. In your email, please include:

• Your preferred weekdays and time of day.
• The number of adults and children who would attend.
• A parent or guardian’s name.
• Any language or accessibility support that would help your family participate.

Your visit is confirmed only after the school contacts you with a date and time. A tour request does not complete school registration. Please leave birth dates, student records, and medical information out of your message.
