Fine Arts at Wasatch
Create, perform, reflect, and belong
The arts are part of how Wasatch students learn, express ideas, and connect with one another. Our 2026–2027 fine arts roadmap centers on opportunities for every student to create, perform, reflect, and belong.

Visual art: create and reflect
Students make meaningful work, explore ways to communicate visually, and reflect on their choices. Exhibits and classroom projects connect the arts with what students are studying. Explore visual art at Wasatch.
Music: listen, practice, and perform
Kindergarten through fourth-grade students learn through singing, instruments, recorders, drumming, listening, and music appreciation. Fifth- and sixth-grade students may participate in band, string orchestra, or choir. Explore music at Wasatch.
Drama: bring ideas to life
Students develop performance skills and share learning through drama. Creating and rehearsing together gives students opportunities to communicate, collaborate, and reflect on how their work reaches an audience. Explore drama at Wasatch.
Dance: express ideas through movement
Students develop movement and performance skills and choreograph for school assemblies called Town Meetings. Dance offers another way to communicate ideas, work with others, and share learning. Explore dance at Wasatch.
Learning worth sharing
School assemblies (Town Meetings), showcases, exhibits, and classroom celebrations give students an audience and a purpose for their work. Our focus is on the creative process: trying an idea, rehearsing, revising, performing, and explaining what was learned.

Families help the arts thrive
Family volunteers and PTA support help sustain Wasatch’s arts tradition. Visit the Wasatch PTA page to learn how to get involved, and check the school calendar and ParentSquare for upcoming events.
