Open Enrollment
All students may attend their designated neighborhood school without consideration of enrollment capacity. Students who wish to attend a school other than their resident school may submit an Open Enrollment Application online during the early enrollment period, November 15th through the first Friday in February, for the upcoming school year. A student may also request a late enrollment transfer by submitting the same online application at any other time of year.
Student Registration
Returning Students
Wasatch Elementary School now registers online for all returning students. You should receive a letter in the mail with your child's student ID number and pin number the week before registration begins. Go here and follow the instructions. Please print out the registration card and signature page and turn them in to the Wasatch Elementary School office. If you do not have access to a computer or you need help with the online registration, computers will be available at the school (date to be announced). We will be happy to assist you at that time.
New Students
In-Boundary Students
For students living within Wasatch Elementary School boundaries, contact our main office by phone at 801-578-8564 or email Cindy Mills for registration information.
Out-of-Boundary Students
If you live outside of Wasatch Elementary School boundaries you will need to apply for a transfer during the open enrollment window through the district Department of Student Services at 440 East 100 South.
Kindergarten
All our programs are for registered Wasatch students and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. We offer two full day kindergarten classes.
Full Day Kindergarten
Monday through Thursday 8:45-3:15 PM
Friday 8:45-1:45 PM
Extended Care
Extended Care is also available at Wasatch Elementary by contacting the Salt Lake Community Education program. For information regarding fees, details and registration, please call 578-8275.
Monday through Friday, after school hours until 6:00PM
